He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Will and Clara Ruth Ward Griffis; and his wife Brenda Rogers Griffis. He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Griffis and Linda Deering. He is also survived by three nephews, one niece, two great nephews, three great nieces and numerous great great nephews and nieces.
