It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggie Joe Darnell of Lewisburg, Tennessee, born in Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Josephine Brooks; her grandparents, Thomas Lawrence Higgins "Paw" and Allice Moore Higgins "Maw"; her husband Paul Darnell Sr.; her son Paul Darnell Jr.; her siblings, Moody Brooks, Sarah Tom McKinnon and Mary Katherine Howell; and her great grandchild Charlotte Elise Darnell.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Wall (Mike) of Columbia and Steven W. Darnell (Terri) of Lewisburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
