Mary Hazel Rainey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Hazel Rainey of Lewisburg, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Franklin and Mary Bigham Franklin; her son Randy Lee Taylor; her husbands, Donald F. Taylor and Alfred Taylor Rainey; and her brother-in-law Lynn Brown.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy F. Taylor (Shari) of Murfreesboro and Danny Taylor (Tina) of Petersburg; her sisters, Doris Luna (Lloyd) of Huntsville, AL and Sylvia Brown of Fayetteville; her daughter-in-law Angie Taylor; and her close friend Edward Runions. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of London Funeral Home (324 W Church St, Lewisburg, TN 37091). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Talley Cemetery.
