She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gates and Sadie Grace Woodward Gates; her husband Bill Richter; her brother Marvin Gates; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Richter, John Vinson, Magdalene Richter of Athens, Alabama, Joe Carl Richter and Dot Richter of Knoxville, Tennessee..
She is survived by: her children, Marvene Woodruff (Carter) of Murfreesboro, Andy Richter (Kathy) of Franklin and John Richter (Tracy Lieu) of Seattle, Washington; her grandchildren, Will Richter (Janae) of Thompson's Station, Suzanna Hollinsaid (Logan) of Memphis, Marianna Woodruff and Elizabeth Woodruff of Murfreesboro; her great grandchildren, Drew Richter, Cara Hollinsaid and Beau Richter; and her siblings-in-law, Donise Richter, Helen Vinson and Fred Richter of Athens, Alabama.. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
