She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brown and Myrtle Whitaker Brown; and her sister Kathy Underwood. She is survived by: her husband Elexis Griggs; her stepson Derrick Hiller; her children, Kala Hiller, Crystal James and Scott Hiller; her stepdaughter June Warren; and her sisters, Carrie Koltin and Ellen Hale. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
