He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Bell and Nellie Dickson Jett; his wife Beatrice Louise Cozart; and his siblings, Jennie Mai Lee, Mary Francis Moore, Edna Louise Cook, Katie Bell Stinnett, Elsie Marie Smith, Helen McAdams of Virginia, Virgil M. Jett, Thomas Bell Jett, Franklin D. Roosevelt Jett and Charlie Jett.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Lynn Jett of Lewisburg, Tammy Eloise Baxter (Phillip) of Lewisburg, Tina Marie Clifford of Lewisburg, Thomas Leonard Jett (Ann) of Lewisburg and Travis Lee Jett of Columbia; and his siblings, Dorothy Gean McRedmond of Portland, Daisy Mai Cozart of Lewisburg, Martha Jane Drake of Lewisburg and Joe Turner Jett of Lewisburg. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
