John Liggett Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2020, John Liggett of Lewisburg, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Liggett and Fannie Boring Liggett; and his siblings, Tom Liggett and Lois McDowell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Cole Liggett; his children, Scotty Liggett (Debbie) and Genia Borton (Brian) of Lewisburg; his grandchildren, Cody Liggett, Cole Liggett (Jenna), Drew Liggett, Mary Katherine Liggett, Jacey Liggett and Laird Johnsey; and his great grandchild Faith Liggett.

Due to concerns of the pandemic, there will be no public visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
