He was predeceased by: his parents, J. P. "Jack" Freeland and Cornelia Frances Bryant Freeland; and his brother Michael Bryant Freeland. He is survived by: his children, Jack Freeland Jr. (Shannon) and Corie Dizol (Billy); his grandchildren, Kelli Cozart, Joseph Freeland, Dalton Dizol, Christi Lanier, Chloe Jackson, Lahna Freeland, Karlee Dizol and Jayce Freeland; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Rayah; his close friend Pamela Freeland; and also, Shannon Carpenter, Tammy Brooks, Stacey Carpenter, Aaron Jonas, Micah Brooks, Kaleb Brooks, Reese Pittman, Maggie Pittman, Sebastian Carpenter, Eli Carpenter and Mason Brooks.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bills-McGaugh and Hamilton Funeral Home (755 Yell Rd, Lewisburg, TN 37091). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home (755 Yell Rd, Lewisburg, TN 37091). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Bryant Cemetery.
