He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd T. Adams and Elnora Gardner Adams; and his sister Brenda Adams. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ray Adams; his daughters, Adrienne Adams Shelton (Daniel) of Lewisburg, Megan Adams (Brad Buchanan) of Nashville and Amanda Cashion Moseley (Mike) of Lewisburg; his siblings, Jerry Adams (Sherry) of Lewisburg, Wayne Adams of Stevens Point, Wisconsin and Dorothy Hoag of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Whitman Shelton, Olivia Shelton, Emmy Shelton, Lockelyn Shelton, Alison Crabtree (Eric), Matthew Cashion (Taylor) and Laura Beth Guinn (Allen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
