He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Caneer and Netho Underwood Caneer; his wife Theresa McConnell Caneer; and his siblings, Ardell Caneer, G. D. Caneer, Ellis Caneer, Addean Wilburn and June Collins.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenny Caneer (Tammy) of Cornersville and Keith Caneer (Donna) of Cornersville; his nephew David Caneer (Vickie) of Lewisburg; and his grandchildren, Joey Caneer (Sacha), Eric Caneer (Jeannie), Chelsea Owens (Mattt), Cody Caneer, Jesse Charron, Cassidy Pritchett and Kelsey Bass. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home (310 N Main St, Cornersville, TN 37047). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Beechwood Cemetery.
