With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Looney of Lewisburg, Tennessee, who passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Doris is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Doris' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Spradling and Edna Becker Spradling; her brother Vernon Spradling (Betty); her niece Karen Spradling; and her nephew-in-law Kevin.
She is survived by: her niece Janice Risinger; and her great-nieces, Melanie Harkey and Kristin Risinger.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bills-McGaugh & Hamilton Funeral Home (755 Yell Rd, Lewisburg, TN 37091). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg.
