She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Roberts and Verlie Cross Roberts; her husband J. R. Garner; and her sisters, Shirley McCafferty, Hazel Prokesh and Jackie Hanely.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ristau of Athens, AL, Dena Belew (Allen) of Leoma, TN and Dennis Garner (Barbara Carol) of Leoma, TN; her sister Juanita Sue McKissack of Ethridge, TN; and her grandchildren, Jamey Hagan, Jay Belew, Josh Garner, Kala Wright, Lance Garner, Nikki Ristau and Jazmin Ristau. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
