She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Morris and Vola Stephenson Morris; her husband Robert Lee Townsend; and her sisters, Dorothy Lumpkins and Cherene Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Townsend of Pulaski, TN and Cathy Laxson (Barry) of Pulaski, TN; and her grandchildren, Whitt Laxson, Jackson Townsend (Cara), Parker Townsend (Carlie), Morgan Townsend, Meredith Garvin (Hunter) and Courtney Fay. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
