She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Eugene and Ruby Green Spears. She is survived by: her brothers, Gene Spears of Franklin, TN and Randy Spears (Donna) of Leoma, TN. She is also survived by two nieces; two nephews; eleven great-nieces and great-nephews; multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
