He was predeceased by: his wife Carlene Richardson Byrd; and his parents, William Thomas and Nina Jeter Byrd. He is survived by: his children, Randy W., Ronnie D. Byrd (Tina), Shawn, Lori Long (Darren) and Lisa Huntley (Geary); and his siblings, Joe Byrd (Velvie) of Florida and Edna Parrott Leoma. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loretto Memorial Chapel (110 N Military St, Loretto, TN 38469). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
