She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Joiner and Perna Vanderford Joiner; her former husband Edd Jewell; and her sister Dallas Joiner Hines. She is survived by: her husband Arley Howell of Leoma, TN; her children, Kathy Kermicle (Danny) of Pulaski, TN, Eddie Jewell (Kim) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Karla Pigg (Mike) of Pulaski, TN; and her stepchildren, Jeff Howell (Sue) of Leoma, TN and Tracy Howell (Lisa) of Leoma, TN. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
