It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis William Purcell of Leoma, Tennessee, born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom Lewis and Helen Louise Johnson Purcell; his wife Betty Whitley Purcell; his brother Charlie Purcell; his nieces, Sheila Wells Fairbanks, Tracey Purcell and Tina Young; his nephew Charles Purcell II; his great-nephew Zachary Hill; and his grandparent Alexia Dixon.
He is survived by: his son Steve Purcell (Teresa) of Leoma, TN; his siblings, Linda Hyde (Robert) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Trish Wells (Dwight) of Loretto, TN and Kenneth Purcell (Linda) of Leoma, TN; his grandsons, Stevie Purcell of Nashville, TN and Cruz Purcell (Mallorie) of Leoma, TN; his great grandchildren, Bentley Purcell, Sophie Purcell and Daisy Purcell; his niece Kristy Whitley Vickery; and his pets, Angel and Kitty. He is also survived by his family and friends.
