He is survived by: his children, LaShawn Baxter (Joe) of Leoma, TN, Brandon Howell (Tiffany) of Columbia, TN, Ashley Owens (Micheal) of Leoma, TN and Michelle Buie (Raymond Davis) of Leoma, TN; his siblings, Arley Howell of Leoma, TN, Stanley Howell of Elkmont, AL and Christine Richter of Leoma, TN; and his grandchildren, Landon, Shelby Owens, Kasen, Benton Buie and Adelyn Howell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a private visitation was held with the family.
