Howard Richard Whitehead Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Richard Whitehead of Leoma, Tennessee, born in Spring Hill, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Richard and Josephine Hunt Whitehead; and his siblings, Hollis Ray Whitehead, Jean Spears, Kathy White and Vernie Whitehead.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Whitehead of Leoma, TN; his sons, Richard Whitehead (Robbie Zales) of Nashville, TN and Brian Whitehead (April) of McMinnville, TN; and his brother James Whitehead of Summertown, TN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (231 N Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
