He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda Hardiman; his great grandchild Jordyn Richardson; and his parents, Floyd Clayton and Lena Hayes Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his daughters, Peggy Hine (David) and Terrie Cozart (Keith); his adoptive son Michael; his siblings, Roy Leo and Linda Hayes Lawrenceburg; and his grandchildren, Heather Richardson, Brittney Jennings, Kaleb Cozart, Bryan Davis, Emily Stewart, Hannah Newton, Abby Kress, Clayton Schultz and Sarah Beddingfield. He is also survived by 20 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Loretto Memorial Chapel (110 N Military St, Loretto, TN 38469). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
