It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Slater of Leoma, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Slater and Ruby Bailey Slater; his wife Mary Ruth Gladney Slater; and his siblings, Joyce Hughes, Hulda Horton, Tharon Ray Slater and J. C. Slater.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Bonee (Jeff) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Brad Slater (Krystal) of Leoma, TN and Tim Slater (Paula) of Leoma, TN; and his siblings, Janis Appleton (Rex) of St. Joseph, TN, Van Slater (Janet) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Keith Slater and Sam Slater (Nita) of Lawrenceburg, TN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
