He was predeceased by: his parents, David Luther and Hettie Jane Holt Henson; his daughter Sharon Henson Frost; and his siblings, James Henson, William Henson and Bonnie Burns.
He is survived by: his children, David W. Henson (Laura) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Tabatha Bates (Gary) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Daniel L. Henson (Heather) of Lawrenceburg, TN; his grandchildren, Tyler Henson (Jackie), Chayce Bates (Brook), Daxter Henson, Shad Henson, Bella Henson and Jaidyn Henson; his great grandchildren, Arabella Bates and Nolan Bates; his brother-in-law Waford Burns of Cloverdale, AL; and his niece Brenda Partin Mathis of Florence, AL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
