He was predeceased by: his parents, Merill McCord and Leola Walker McCord; and his brother Paul McCord. He is survived by: his wife Mary Henson McCord; his children, Melissa Cole (Terry) and Jeff McCord (Genny); his grandchildren, Kimberly Cole, Kayla Cole and Charles Cole; his great grandchild Brynleigh Lumpkins; and his brother Tommy McCord. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
