As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Evelyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ray and Geneva Walton; and her husband Tommy Ray Rogers, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Ray Rogers, II (Shannon) of Kenton, TN and Brandon Keith Rogers (Sherry) of Dyersburg; her granddaughter Mandy Kay Hawks (Chad); her daughter Tracye Martinez (Miguel) of Dyersburg; and her siblings, Frankie Ray Walton (Stephanie) of Lenox, Penny Walton of Lenox and Heather Michelle Walton of Finley. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dyersburg Funeral Home (420 US-51, Dyersburg, TN 38024).
