He was predeceased by: his wife Beulah Johnson Walker (Cricket); his parents, Rev. R. C. Walker and Mae Walker; his siblings, Lendell Walker, Darrell Walker, Laverne Walker Brown (Gene) and Enzelle Walker Silvey (Ben); his parents-in-law, Walter and Leona Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Johnson (Betty), Walter (Buddin), Lloyd Johnson, Floyd Johnson, Johnny Johnson, Arthur Johnson, Lillian (Sissy), Jenkins (Marion) and Rosa McCulloch (Raymond).
He is survived by: his children, Rick Walker (Amybeth) of Maryville and Patti Walker (Gary Collier) of Nashville; his grandson Reid Walker of Maryville; his brother Dorman Walker; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Walker, Gemma Hite and Dorothy Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
