He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Babb Smith; his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Scott Carpenter; his grandchildren, Brooke and Kate; his daughter-in-law Anneke Brandsma Smith; his grandsons, Tate and Tyler; and his cousins, Londa Sowders, Diane Fields and Carol Gamble.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home, Inc. (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery City Park.
