He is survived by: his children, Kenda Thomas (Chris), Sarah Arden, Kenny Shelton, Jr., Michael Johnson and Colby Cannon; his granddaughter River Thomas; and his sister Joyce Mitchell (Troy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
