He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Butler and Rosie Butler; and his siblings, Marie Harness (Butler), T. W. Butler of Greencove, FL, Arville Butler and Billy Ray Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his brother Charlie Butler (Beth) of Knoxville; and his children, Reena McDonald, Beverly Finger, Michelle Butler, Mandi Russell and Ryan Jordan. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Park Baptist Church (4333 US-11, Lenoir City, TN 37772).
