The passing of Janice Ailene Shackleford of Lenoir City, Tennessee leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Harry K. Shackleford; her parents, Roy Carr and Dora Carr; and her brothers, Paul (Charlotte Carr), Virgil (Virginia Carr) and Charles (Louise Carr).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Dean Winsor), Kimberly (Jay Kosier) and Keith (Kaylee Shackleford); and her grandchildren, Nicholas Winsor, Daniel, Amy Scarbrough, Drew, Kim Scarbrough, Tyler, Tanja Shackleford, Matthew Shackleford, Nick and Samantha Allyn. She is also survived by great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Funeral Home, Inc. (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roane Memorial Gardens (1400 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854).
