She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Degges; her parents, Babe Underwood and Neita Pearl Crabtree Underwood; her sister Charlene Underwood Brown; and her son-in-law Clifford White.
She is survived by: her children, John "Sandy" Mathis (Linda) of Grandview, Neita McClendon (Tommy) of Lenoir City and June White of Lenoir City; her grandchildren, T. J., Ricky, Clifton and Jesse; her great grandchildren, Austin, Angel, Bryanna, Willow, Justin, Ciara, Zeppelin and Sophie; and her siblings, Jo Anna Houston, Gretchen Bentley and Douglas Underwood. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
