Burlene Gentry Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Burlene Gentry of Lenoir City, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Burlene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Burlene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Burlene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Gentry and Hazel Nicholas Gentry; and her siblings, Bill Gentry and Wanda King. She is survived by: her children, Diane Simpson (Kevin Conefrey) of Lenoir City and John Franklin of Loudon; her grandchildren, Ray Simpson, Jacob Franklin and Jadyn Lennex; and her great grandchildren, Sadie Mae Simpson, Kinsley Grace Lennex Taijeron and Manuel Kade Lennex Taijeron. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Loudon Funeral Home (2048 Mulberry St, Loudon, TN 37774).
