With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Arland Wayne Whitlock of Lenoir City, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Arland Wayne left this world on January 16, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Whitlock and Judah McAfee Whitlock; and his former wife Peggy Beal Whitlock. He is survived by: his wife Debra Whitlock; his children, Steve Whitlock (Bingshang), Beth Eno, Dorothy Rader (Jamie) and Dawn Taylor (John); his grandchildren, Dani Randall (Jordan), Alex, Kyle and Luke Whitlock; and his brother Eugene Whitlock (Anita).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evans Mortuary (805 N Gateway Ave, Rockwood, TN 37854). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caney Branch Baptist Church (2063 Caney Branch Rd, Morrison, TN 37357). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Caney Branch Baptist Church Cemetery (2063 Caney Branch Rd, Morrison, TN 37357).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Arland's memory to Second Harvest Food Bank of East TN.
