He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy Jo Vineyard Bell; his wife Freda Daniel Williams Bell; his daughters, Brenna Williams and Cindy Hudgens; his granddaughter Joyce Johnson; his parents, Taft Bell and Elsie Medlan; and his sister Cornelia George.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jo Broffman and Susan Breazeale (Stan); his stepchildren, Jim Williams (Carolyn), Vina George (Guy) and Bruce Williams (Miriam); his grandchildren, Mike Breazeale (Carolyn), Christina Hampton (Billy), Scott Hudgens, Justin Hudgens (Irene), Lexee Immenhort, Dawn Johnson, Mike Swain (Manderley), Norman Lettieri (Shannon), Alena Cooper (Shane), Jason Williams (Chastity), Stephanie Skofield (Phil), Aaron Duncan, Camilla Hephner (Matt), Caleb Williams, Colby Hammel (Gavin) and Courtland Williams; and his brothers, Vernon Medlan and Ray Medlan (Diane). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home, Inc. (109 S Walnut St, Lenoir City, TN 37771). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
