He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Estelle Dedman and Davis Chaffin; his wife Betty Fay Ray Chaffin; his sons, Jeffrey Ray Chaffin and John Davis Chaffin (Kristi); his granddaughters, Hayley Jane Chaffin and Callie Rae Chaffin; and his sisters, Joyce Fleming (James), Annette Sims (Doug) and Janette Rains (Gill).
