He was predeceased by: his parents, Vic Emmert and Margery Emmert; his children, Margery Catherine Emmert and William "Eric" Emmert; his parents-in-law, Howard Lee and Catherine Climer Edwards; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Edwards and Frank Norcom.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lois Emmert; his sister Marcia Ann Emmert Norcom; his niece Margery Norcom Hilburn (Ken); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bryson Hilburn, Amy Hilburn, Erin Hilburn Stuver (Matt), Michelle Walker (Jimmy) and Teresa Lanham (Greg); his sister-in-law Cora Tomlinson Edwards; and also, Daniel Greer Stuver, Liam Kite, Isabella, Carly, Reanna Stahl, Kayla Walker, Dalton Walker (Jade), Madison Dill (Jon), Melissa Kite (Brant) and Ashley Stahl.
In lieu of flowers, the family request no flowers but contributions may be made to the Wilson County Community Help Center, Cedarcroft Home in Lebanon or any charity of your choice.
