He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Sullins McGowan. He is survived by: his daughter Diane Shelton (Chris); his grandson Kyle Shelton; his great grandchild Emeline Grace Vann; his brothers, Gene and Ellis McGowan; and his pet Spot.
