He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Allison Bare; his father J. R. Heath; and his sisters, Debbie Ackerman and Nancy Crook. He is survived by: his wife Margo Pearson Heath; his children, Kristen Bare (Tony) and Daniel Heath (Ashlie); his sister Tina Heath; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Bare, Evan Bare, Turner Heath and Chaney Heath.
