He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bowen Sr. and Morine Ramsey; his stepfather Earl Ramsey; and his siblings, Carol Wallace, Larry Blackburn and Brenda Ayers.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Bowen; his children, Dana Mason and Shelley Shaw (Dan); his grandchildren, Hunter Barbour (Jda), Maley Turley, Savana Austin and Dylan Shaw; his great grandchildren, Everleigh, Remeigh and Naveigh; and his sister-in-law Lorie Blackburn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
