He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Starnes Kemp and Clifton Kemp; his siblings, Harlan Kemp, C. H. Kemp, Kenneth Kemp, Peggy Foster, Sue Bonner, Carolyn Kemp, Mary Stewart and Kathy Brewster; and his grandson Jacob Wesley William Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Kemp; his children, Terry Kemp Jr. (Amy), Wesley Kemp, Kim Warden (Bryan) and Jessica Thompson (Vance); his grandchildren, Dustin Napier, Austin Kemp (Savanah), Alicyn Warden, Isaac Thompson, Abram Thompson, Jackson Thompson, Ethan Kemp and Harper Jayne Thompson; and his great grandchild Wylder Kemp. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Fairview Church (1660 Leeville Pike, Lebanon, TN 37087). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (609 S Maple St, Lebanon, TN 37087).
