She is survived by: her children, Melinda Forbes (Mike), Robert "Bob" Halbert (Amy) and Patrick Halbert (Carrie); her grandchildren, Kyle Forbes, Hannah Smith (Cody), Emily, Will, Lucas and Grant Halbert; her great grandchildren, Troy, Carter, Eli, Brooklyn Forbes, Case and Emma Kai Smith; her great great grandchild Kenslei Forbes; and her siblings-in-law, Hamlet Halbert and Margaret Vance.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Athens Missionary Baptist Church.
