We bid farewell to Robert E. Brumby (Lebanon, Tennessee), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 12, 2024 at the age of 96. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Brumby and Ruby Brumby (Graham); and his wife Ruth Garmer. He is survived by: his children, Carol Ramcke (Mark), Elaine Korby (Randall), Alice Blackman (Michael) and Robert Brumby (Annette). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sellars Funeral Home (313 W Baddour Pkwy, Lebanon, TN 37087). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (609 S Maple St, Lebanon, TN 37087).
