The memory of Robert Check of Lebanon, Tennessee, who passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Check and Sally Check (Bonk); the mother of his children Kathleen Check (Weekes); his sister Kathleen Benthein; his siblings-in-law, Randy Benthein, Bobby Johnson, Craig Dunnavant, Nancy Check (McDonnell) and Rita Dunnavant; and his nephews, Mike Benthein and Kristopher Hatchell.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Check (Dunnavant); his sons, Jason Check (Jamie) and Joshua Check; his stepsons, Randy and Rick Klein; his grandchildren, Kathy, Jimmy, Jeremy, Isabell, Leslie and James Check; his siblings, Stephen Check, Connie Warning (Jon), Mary Smith and Sue Check (Adam Hoopai); his siblings-in-law, Floyd Dunnavant (Susan), Cindy Johnson and Dorothy Dunnavant (Parrott); and his nieces and nephews, Todd Benthein (Mary), Andy Warning (Taylor), Daniel Dunnavant (Linda), Jenny Siepler (Bob), Stephanie, Brittaney Check, Gerry Benthein, DeeDee Hatchell and Jenny Summersill (Kevin). He is also survived by his family and was a great husband, father, and grandfather.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Partlow Funeral Chapel (602 S Cumberland St, Lebanon, TN 37087). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
