She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Wheeler and Evelyn Wheeler of Smithville; her husband Jerry Baxter Callis; her daughter Karen "Sissy" Eldridge; her siblings, Bobbie Pedigo Woods, Helen Rose Keith, Christine Matthews and Eudean Wheeler; and her grandchildren, Joshua Mack Eldridge and Jennifer Smotherman.
She is survived by: her children, John "Bubba" Hale (Karen), Rita "Tinky" Vaughn (Frankie), Brenda Hale Eldridge, Leslie Williams, Jerry Wayne Callis (Dana), Randell Brady (Laura) and Annie Hale; her sisters, Marlene Goodwin, Judy Wheeler Lattimore Johnson and Wanda Sue Wilkerson; her caregivers, Debbie Pedigo Hawkes and Janice Pedigo Pierce; and her son-in-law Aaron Massingille. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, & 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the Shriner's Hospital or Disabled American Veterans.
