He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gray and Annie Lou Bass Seay; his wife Marilyn Ward Seay; his son Brent Ward; and his sister Helen Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Alexander (Maury) of Hermitage, TN, Cameron Seay of Antioch, TN and Adrian Seay of Lebanon, TN.; his granddaughters, Jasmine Randle of Nashville, TN., Tiffany Dockins of LaVergne, TN., Tija Larkins of Nashville, TN. and Jasmine Fuqua of Lebanon, TN; his great grandchildren, Elijah Randle of Knoxville, TN., Lance Fuqua of Lebanon, TN., Josiah and Jordan Edwards of LaVergne, TN.; his siblings, Mary Margaret Stafford of Lebanon, TN., Jerry Seay of Nashville, TN. and Emma Dale Johnson (Michael); and his sister-in-law Sammye Williamson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jc Hellum Funeral Chapel (107 Stokes St, Lebanon, TN 37087). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
