It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Oliver Bishop of Lebanon, Tennessee, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Bishop; his parents-in-law, Edward and Dorothy Gibson; his sister Shirley; and his brother-in-law Gene Marchant.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanya; his son-in-law Kyle Schrage; his grandchildren, Braden of Lebanon, TN, Dawson of Lebanon, TN and Kalyn Welch of Lebanon, TN; his stepgranddaughters, Ellie, Emma and Cara Schrage of Murfreesboro, TN; his nephews, Ervin Marchant (Denise) of Chesapeake, VA and Edward Marchant (Cyndi) of Currituck, NC; and his niece Jennifer Stevens (Greg) of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by great nieces/nephews.
They provided compassionate and complete care at a most difficult time, through the descent of COVID and beyond.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (.JDRF.org) in honor of his grandson, Dawson.
