He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Estes Dodson and Anna Mae Dodson (Mounce); his wife Vicki Lynn Dodson; and his siblings, Ann Dodson, Joe Dodson and Lora Blouin.
He is survived by: his children, Rayna Augspurger, Cutrona (Jay), Amber Augspurger, Nathan Dodson, Laurel Dodson and Amy Graham (Sawyer); his grandchildren, Andrew Shideler, Samantha Pereira, Sterling Dodson, RJ Dodson, Hunter Dodson, Maya Dodson, Ava Scruggs, Emery Graham, Seth Meade, Stacia Meade, Tabby Meade and Steve Swank; his great great grandchildren, Amelia Pereira, Hadley Meade, Jasmine Palmer, Camden Palmer, Cohen Meade and Madilyn Meade; and his siblings, Mark Dodson, Millie Huddleston, Janie Price and Lisa Coker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
