She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammie Briney and Jack Briney of Mayfield, Kentucky.; and her husband Max W. Cook. She is survived by: her sons, Randy S. Cook (Jenny Lee) and Marc A. Cook; her grandchildren, Kristin Puryear (Luke), Mallory Maxwell (Adam), Alex Marshall and Peyton Ryan Cook; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Grace Ann, Max, Marshall and Mary Alice.
