She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Thomas Johnson and Ruth Marie Glen Garton; her husband Fred Smith "Smitty" Murphy; her sons, Winn Murphy and Brandon Murphy; her stepfather Jasper Winford Garton; and her sisters, Patricia Clemmons and Bonnie Wells.
She is survived by: her children, Tamryn Lee Murphy, Weston Smith Murphy and Zane Thomas Murphy; her nieces and nephews, Brandy Tomlinson, Melissa Clemmons, Brian, Jeff, Cory, Brad Clemmons, Shane and Timmy Wells; her stepchildren, Drenda Sorrells and John Murphy (Nicole); and her stepgrandchildren, J. R., Molly, Victoria Murphy and Chloe Sorrells. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home (241 W Main St, Lebanon, TN 37087). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
