He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank R. Stanfield and Catherine B. Stanfield; his former wife Janet M. Stanfield; and his siblings, Frank "Bud" Stanfield and Mary E. Logston.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila D. Stanfield; his stepchildren, Matthew Bennett and Sara Bennett; and his siblings, Octa Lou Vondemmel, Betty Graves, Peggy DeVore, Kathy Blevins and Phillip Stanfield. He is also survived by 18 nieces and nephews.
