She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel McKinley Carrell and Thelma Binkley Carrell; her husband Robert Lee Pruitte; her daughter-in-law Susan Moore Pruitte; and her siblings, Dorothy Drew, Egilda Crowell, Lorene Carrell, Betty Jean Ballentine, Frances May, Patricia Carrell, Donald, Robert, Claude and Johnny Carrell.
She is survived by: her son Bobby L. Pruitte; her grandchildren, Michele Oswald, Zachary Pruitte (Shelby), Ethan and Jesse Pruitte; and her siblings, Cynthia Chadwick, Theresa Murray, Elizabeth Bailey, Edward and Charles Carrell. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
